著名Funk Metal/Alternative Rock乐队RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS是为数不多
的几支能把90年代非主流摇滚的辉煌沿袭至21世纪的乐队.也许其中的一个重要原因是:
在保持个性化的音乐风格的同时,在歌曲旋律上更加贴近主流.在CALIFORNICATION和BY THE WAY
两张专辑连续取得成功后,今年他们终于推出了令"辣椒迷"们期待已久的双碟新作STADIUM ARCADIUM.
毫无疑问，一行四人的Red Hot Chili Peppers已是当今乐坛中，
少数得以由八十年代崛起後跨越九十年代至今，声势维持颠峰且依旧展现丰盛创作力的翘楚乐团，
被公认为九十年代最重要的另类摇滚乐团之一，甚至Limp Bizkit、No Doubt、Rage Against The Machine、
Korn、Sugar Ray等知名乐团都曾被形容为吸纳了Red Hot Chili Peppers的音乐影响而来。
自83年成军，成功跨越九十年代至今的洛杉矶四人乐团Red Hot Chili Peppers无疑是近
二十年来最独树一帜的Metal-Funk/Punk-Funk乐团，甚至在毒品问题、团员逝世与更替等问题的考验下，
仍能屹立不摇并获得葛莱美奖肯定更属难得。
Californication是RHCP（Red Hot Chilli Peppers）的某张专辑，
我认为最好的一张，虽然明眼人也可以指出这是我好好听听过的唯一一张，
但是他们外界评价最好的几张都没有给我过那种一击必杀的感觉。
